Ballarat Nationals
Ballarat Camera Club is proud to run the Ballarat National, which has been running for 41 years. The 42nd Exhibition closing date is October 15th 2010.
Around 1000 prints are submitted from all over Australia.
This competition takes place over the summer, with the prints being hung in the Art Gallery of Ballarat from mid December/January.
The Club is very busy from Judging Day, usually the last weekend in October, until the prints go into the gallery, with a catalogue being generated, and accepted prints being framed.
All members' participation on judging day is appreciated, with so many prints to be set out and collected, scores entered in the computer, prints sorted into acceptances and non-acceptances, ready for photographing and framing.
Entry to this National Exhibition is open to all Australian resident photographers; prints must be mounted to 16” x 20” (for framing purposes). Entry forms are usually available in July and can be sent by post, email or downloaded from the Information section of this Website, please contact the Exhibition coordinator for further information.
